Tokens
A token is a bit of text that is automatically replaced with actual values when a workflow runs.They allow you to have up-to-date information every time your workflow runs, such as the current time and all the most recent information from your Laserfiche repositories. They also simplify your workflow since you can configure one activity with tokens to take the place of multiple activities, each configured for a specific user or situation. More information.
Example: The Rename Entry activity renames an entry. You can use tokens to dynamically assign the entry's new name. If you configure this activity to rename the entry using the date token %(Date), the entry will be renamed according to the date the workflow ran.
